Abstract


The reward one gets for his work is called remuneration. When a person works as an employee and gets something in return in the form of remuneration is called salary. For a layman salary is a monetary amount that is being received by him from his employer, but in real sense salary has wide connotations. Salary is whatever comes from employer to employee in return of services rendered whether in monetary form or non-monetary form. This research paper describes the constituents of salary and its structure.
